I would like to go back to year 2003, when I was in pune and my aunty took me to a programme, which was for a Music school's annual gathering. The main Guruji of that school was Bela's father.
That day I heard Bela Live and I was very impressed with her voice quality. Just recently, I was in Ratnagiri with Vaishali where Bela was also one of the singers. I had the previledge to listen to her live again after so many years. She was Spectacular and 500 % more effective than 2003.
I spoke to her and congratulated her for her recent achievement with her song "Manamohana" with none other than AR Rehman. She has sung that number so well that she is recognized world wide by now.
Today date 5th december 2009, I had a chance to listen to Bela on the recording mic. It was a sheer pleasure. I realized today that her voice is Divine. It is so clean like a pure white cloth.
Her riyaz is so good that she hits the notes with utmost ease. The murkiyan, the expressions, the throw of voice was so amazing, that Nilesh was just getting what he wanted in split seconds. That is a very important thing from a Music Director's point of view. He was very happy n satisfied.
And as a listener me too.
There were so many things to learn from today's recording. Bela is truly a National talent, and she is on her way to make it big on the playback scenario, I wish to get an opportunity to sing with her one day. I wish to see her at the top soon. She is on her way I wish her all the luck.
